Secretariat of the European Technology and Innovation Platform Bioenergy
The ETIP Bioenergy Secretariat is administered by the Fachagentur Nachwachsende Rohstoffe e.V (FNR)/ Agency for Renewable Resources that is located in Gülzow-Prüzen, Germany. The ETIP Bioenergy Secretariat is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the ETIP Bioenergy.
Since September 2018, the project called ETIP-B-SABS 2 - European Technology and Innovation Platform Bioenergy - Support of Renewable Fuels and Advanced Bioenergy Stakeholders 2, funded over three years by the Horizon2020 Framework Programme for Technology and Innovation of the European Commission under Grant Agreement No. 825179, is actively supporting the ETIP Bioenergy aiming to facilitate co-operations among bioenergy stakeholders in Europe. Fachagentur Nachwachsende Rohstoffe e.V. (FNR) is the central coordinating agency in Germany for the promotion of renewable resources. Founded in 1993 by the present Federal Ministry of Feed and Agriculture (BMEL) which funds its activities, FNR is in charge of managing a practice-, problem- and result-oriented pool of activities. It provides professional consultation and financial support to a variety of clients (e.g. universities, research institutes, innovative SMEs or other industries). It is further present at scientific and public events, disseminating research results to the general public and providing information on all aspects of renewable resources.
