Bioenergy - from Research to Market Deployment in a European Context

image

The event will bring together selected key members from the bioenergy sector to discuss some of the latest bioenergy research results and current challenges in this field.

The morning sessions will focus on the research side and Project Coordinators of projects funded via ERA-Net Bioenergy and Biomass Sustaining the Future (BESTF) will present remarkable results of their past three years of research.

The afternoon session will focus on strengthening the market uptake of advanced biofuels and bioenergy and will finish with a lively discussion on how to bridge the gap between research and demonstration and industry, and which R&D priorities to focus on. The panel will include representatives from the European Energy Research Alliance (EERA), the Renewable Heating and Cooling Technology Platform and ETIP Bioenergy.

This event will offer the opportunity to learn more about the latest bioenergy research developments from experts in the field in Europe and to participate in a unique interactive discussion on how to drive this research forward to the market.
