Union for the Promotion of Oil and Protein Plants (UFOP) carries out public relation work, promotion activities, funding and coordination of biofuel (biodiesel and vegetable oil) projects, seminars and conferences about biofuel issues, and sustainability requirements.

UFOP covers production, processing and marketing enterprises as well as federations and institutions involved in domestic oil and protein plants. It develops ideas for the optimization of agricultural production as well as for sales promotion including aspects of non-food use and the production of biodiesel and other products generated from domestic oil and protein plants under the banner of sustainable raw materials.
