Innovation Fund taking shape – Call for experts and technical workshops planned by the IF Team
On behalf of ETIP Bioenergy, Lars Waldheim participated in the 4th Innovation Fund Expert Group meeting on 18 December 2019 in Brussels. The documentation of the workshop, touching upon issues such as governance, calculation of relevant cost and GHG emission avoidance, co-financing and state-aid considerations, is available here: https://ec.europa.eu/clima/
One key outcome of the meeting was that technical workshops on the GHG emission avoidance and the relevant costs are planned by the Innovation Fund team on 5-6 February 2020 in Brussels.
The technical workshops will be followed by a public session on 6 February afternoon to debrief from the technical discussions. It will be web-streamed and will allow for asking questions in real time via Slido, as well as in advance at CLIMA-IF-EXPERTGROUP@ec.
