The European Federation of Regional Energy and Environment Agencies is a European network of regional and local organisations which implement, co-ordinate and facilitate energy and environment policies. It provides an ongoing information service to both its members and to European Institutions as well as providing technical expertise to European organisations and preparing position papers on European legislation and programmes. It also gives advice on relevant EC programmes and funding possibilities, assisting in the formulation of project proposals and the creation of partnerships
