Deinove is developing industrial-scale production of ethanol from lignocellulosic feedstocks using Deinococcus  The technology was developed through the Deinol project, which involved CNRS Montpellier and INSA Toulouse and the Tereos group (via its SYRAL and BENP Lillebonne subsidiaries).
