Mobilising Europe’s Renewable Fuel Value Chains: SETDEPLOY IWG8 Information Webinar on the Horizon Europe Co-Fund Call

SETDEPLOY and ETIP Bioenergy are organising an Information Webinar on the Horizon Europe call HORIZON-CL5-2027-02-D3-08 – Co-funding Strategic Energy Technology (SET) Plan renewable fuel value chains at EU, national, regional and local level.

The webinar will provide an opportunity for interested organisations and stakeholders to learn more about the call, its objectives, requirements and implementation. Maria Georgiadou from the European Commission will introduce the call, while Ivano Marchesin from CINEA’s Operational Finance – Horizon Europe Unit will address questions related to the call and the implementation of Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP).

In addition, the webinar will introduce the SETDEPLOY Mobilisation & Matchmaking Series, an initiative designed to support interested organisations in identifying potential partners, building connections and developing collaborative approaches and consortia in response to the Horizon Europe call.

Launch of the SETDEPLOY Mobilisation & Matchmaking Series

The webinar will mark the kick-off of a series of interactive matchmaking meetings planned for November–December 2026. These meetings will provide a platform for organisations to explore potential collaborations, exchange expertise and connect with prospective partners interested in contributing to renewable fuel value chains under the Horizon Europe call.

Further information on the matchmaking activities and opportunities to express interest will be shared during the webinar. Interested stakeholders are invited to join the webinar and take part in the SETDEPLOY mobilisation activities.
