Get involved in ETIP BIOENERGY activities

The ETIP Bioenergy was established in autumn 2016 as the successor organisation of the European Biofuels Technology Platform (EBTP). It brings together the knowledge and expertise of stakeholders from industry, biomass production, research & technology development, engine and vehicle manufacture, fuel distribution, government and NGOs in a public private partnership. The platform depends on the advice and information provided by stakeholders to achieve a common aim – the commercial deployment of sustainable bioenergy in general and advanced biofuels in particular in Europe.

Register your business contact details and provide an organisation profile

If you would like to become more involved with the platform and include your organisation details on the ETIP Bioenergy Stakeholder Database, please use the Stakeholder Registration Form below. The form includes two sections:

1. A summary of your organisation with a web link that will be included on the public databases of Biofuels and Bioenergy Stakeholders in Europe.

2. Your business contact details, which will not be shared with any third party, but may be used by ETIP Bioenergy occasionally to contact you when the platform is seeking expert advise on specific topics related to the deployment of advanced biofuels in Europe.

Apply for Working Group Membership

Working Groups (WGs) of the ETIP Bioenergy bring together experts from across Europe in four key areas:

  • WG1: Biomass availability
  • WG2: Conversion  processes
  • WG3: End use
  • WG4: Policy and sustainability

The WGs provide the EC with a concensus of views from research, industry, academia and organisations on aspects of advanced biofuels and bioenergy R&D and policy issues. WGs also contribute to the up-date and expansion of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for Bioenergy in Europe that serves as a reliable source of information and guidance on the development of bioenergy and biofuels within the EU.

To apply in order to become a member of an ETIP Bioenergy Working Group, please send a brief C.V. to secretariat@etipbioenergy.eu, outlining your experience and expertise in one of the WG’s key areas mentioned above. This will be passed on to the relevant WG Chairs.

Provide information for the ETIP BIOENERGY website

Provide information on your R&D&D projects, events, reports or news for dissemination on the ETIP Bioenergy website

ETIP Bioenergy is always actively seeking updates to add to its public information pages on biofuels and bioenergy in Europe and globally. The ETIP Bioenergy website ranks highly on Google and other search engines and receives over 300,000 unique visitors per year, so it is an effective portal for sharing your latest information with other biofuels and bioenergy stakeholders. Please send you information and web links to secretariat[@]etipbioenergy.eu.

To correct or update information

The ETIP Bioenergy handles a large volume of information each week covering a wide variety of organisations, technologies, projects, reports, etc. Hundreds of pieces of data in the public domain are added to the web pages and databases each year. While every effort is made to ensure that information is reliable, it can be a challenge to keep up-to-date with the progress and activities of individual projects and organisations. If you find any information on this website that you believe is inaccurate or out of date, please inform secretariat[@]etipbioenergy.eu. Where possible please include reference links to the correct information. The ETIP Bioenergy-SABS team will deal with this as a priority. Please refer to the Important Disclaimer and Policy Statements regarding information provided on this website.
