
On 15 November a public lecture on the topic of Green Gas from Regional Residues was held by BEST in Wieselburg, Austria, as part of a series of lectures organized with the support of ETIP Bioenergy, aimed at fostering public dialogue and raising social awareness on biomass, bioenergy and biofuels. This is part of a series of public lectures that will be organized in the next feww weeks across Europe. On 25 November the Center for the Study of Democracy organised a roundtable discussion in Bulgaria on the impact of domestic heating on air quality and effective measures to improve it, in cooperation with the Energy Efficiency Centre EnEffect. The event brought together local government representatives, experts, NGOs, academics and the media with the primary aim of informing, but also engaging participants in supporting the city’s long-term efforts to achieve cleaner air.
