ETIP Bioenergy Workshop: Scaling innovation and achieving deployment for renewable fuels at EUBCE 2026

Date: Wednesday, 20th May 2026
Time: 16:15 – 18:15
Location: World Forum, The Hague, Room: South America

ETIP Bioenergy and the SET Plan Implementation Working Group on Renewable Fuels and Bioenergy work jointly to achieve the implementation of renewable fuels and bioenergy technologies.

Starting from the vision that renewable fuels and bioenergy form a comprehensive and technology-diverse pillar of Europe´s climate-neutral, competitive and resilient energy system, this workshop will identify key research and innovation priorities as well as inform about key deployment challenges and investment and funding opportunities.

A high-level panel of speakers will provide information, while an interactive format will be used to collect the view of the audience on deployment challenges and key R&I priorities. Input given during this workshop will directly shape the final Strategic Research and Implementation Agenda (SRIA) due by the end of 2026, ensuring this important roadmap reflects the views of the European bioenergy and renewable fuels sector
