The TrustxBio Innovation Challenge received nine applications from a diverse group of participants, including researchers, CEOs, and project managers from businesses, universities, and research institutions. These ideas focus on bioenergy, waste management, and sustainability, with solutions ranging from biogas production to biomass technologies, carbon capture, and decentralized energy.
Key innovations include waste-to-energy technologies, climate-resilient agriculture, and circular economy models, all designed to reduce carbon emissions and promote resource efficiency. Selected participants will now advance to the next phase, receiving mentorship and expert guidance to further develop their projects.
The kick-off for the challenge is scheduled for October 21, 2024, and will mark the beginning of workshops that will provide participants with the tools to refine and scale their solutions, bringing their bio-based innovations closer to market readiness. Stay tuned for updates!
